I have been teaching Basketry at City for many years now.
Below are details of next course I will be teaching there.
The Basketry Project : Investigate, Explore, Make
Learn new techniques, or expand and explore your existing skills. Using basketry techniques the emphasis will be on developing ideas and practice through personal research, and working with a range of materials.
I’m going to be teaching this course at City Lit on Mondays for 9 weeks, 10.30 to 4.30.
Starts on Monday 20th April through to 22nd June. You can read more about the course if you follow this link http://www.citylit.ac.uk/…/the-basketry-project%3A-investig….
Places are filling up so book your place soon if you think this course could be for you. You don’t need any previous experience of basketry, as the course is designed to be interesting and relevant for complete beginners and students with previous basketry experience.
This is what a student from last year said about the course :
“I took this course in 2014 and it was excellent. The tutor is fun, generous and inspirational. It’s a great course for anyone looking for more experimental and creative basketry.”
For further information, visit the City Lit website, or contact Visual Arts on 020 7492 2700, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I will be teaching a couple of two-day courses as part of the City Lit’s Summer School in July and will post details of these two courses soon.
I also teach on a freelance basis and will post details of future courses.
