Basketry Identity

There’s some really exciting work by members of the Basketmakers Association in this show at Riverhouse Barn in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

Many of the exhibitors are graduates of the 2yr City Lit Basketry course, and/or have done some of the many varied short courses run at City Lit.

There will be a new intake of students for the 2yr course starting in September.

Full details will be on City Lit website soon or request a prospectus.

The Basketry Project : Investigate, Explore, Make

Learn new techniques, or expand and explore your existing skills.  Using basketry techniques the emphasis will be on developing ideas and practice through personal research, and working with a range of materials.

I’m going to be teaching this course at City Lit on Mondays for 9 weeks, 10.30 to 4.30.
